Can I run an over-the-board tournament with it?
Yes. Players sit at real boards; you show pairings on a TV or print them, and arbiters enter results from a phone. Standings and tie-breaks update as each result comes in.
Do players need an account or an app?
No. They open your link or scan the QR code and enter their name. Players who want to keep their games and rating can sign in with their phone number later.
How do entry fees reach me?
Players pay by UPI or card when they register. After a one-time bank verification, the money is paid out to your bank account the next working day, minus 5% that covers payment charges and our fee. Or switch on “add fee to entry” so players cover the 5% and you receive the full entry fee.
Do players ever pay Ashtapada?
No. Players pay only the entry fee you set, and that money is yours. Ashtapada is paid by organisers: 5% on fees collected through us, plus an Event pass or Academy plan for bigger events.
Are the events FIDE or AICF rated?
Not through us. Rated events still go through your arbiter and association. You can download the results to share with them.
Do kids need email addresses?
No. Import a list and each child gets a username and PIN, or joins with the event's QR code.
Will you sell coaching to my students?
Never. We don't run a coaching school or a coach marketplace, so your players stay yours.
